Question, when is a shirt not simply a shirt? Answer, when Craig Green gets his hands on it. Green is a master of putting his stamp on menswear archetypes, of which he does not produce many, but this utility shirt is one of them. By rendering it in a water-resistant cotton - I've been caught in mine in a pretty heavy drizzle and escaped unscathed - using snaps, two of which are visible, instead of buttons, and adding utility pockets, he has turned your mundane dress shirt into a truly versatile piece that can be dressed up or down, depending on how you style it. I've paired mine with black jeans, a black tee, and heavy boots and made it goth, and I've also worn it with black pants and shoes for a formal dinner. No one was the wiser. The version I own has the black pocket closure, but I actually lover this version with the white, which gives it a snazzy contrast.
