His lasting impact continues to shape the industry. As of July 10, 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli has taken the helm as Creative Director, ushering in a new era for the House. He succeeds Demna Gvasalia, who led Balenciaga from 2015 to 2025 and infused the brand with dark minimalism and exaggerated forms. The brand's menswear showcases deconstructed tailoring and avant-garde proportions, featuring oversized hoodies and architectural knitwear, and cult-favorite sneakers that blur the lines between luxury and streetwear.
