UNDERCOVER TUXEDO COAT
Ever felt snuggly in a tuxedo jacket with tails? You will if it comes with a generous helping of spongy faux lamb. Satin lapels and covered buttons never seemed more casual when your hands are being kept warm in patch pockets soft as mittens.
Follow the lines. Lines that are clear, clean and cool. In the darkest of midnight blue, Jil Sander’s double faced wool coat is fastidious and fuss free. No visible buttons to distract from the pure form, no pocket flaps; just the elegant, unexpected fluting at the coat’s end. A graceful offset to the rigor.
The beige trench. Ultra classic and essential. But that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. Act No.1’s trench surprises with a pale flutter of pleats in back. And at the wrists, free form sleeve straps to tie your way or not at all. Give the extra long waist belt a double tour.
