WHY WE LOVE IT - CRAIG GREEN QUILTED WORKER JACKET

I bought my Craig Green quilted worker jacket a couple of years ago. I was obsessed with it, and I hunted one down on the web in just the fabric, color, and the size I wanted and literally bought it while I was on the train from Florence to Rome, obsessively hitting the refresh button on my phone that was struggling with slow-speed Internet. When I got home, my prize was waiting for me.

Let me tell you - this jacket is DESIGNED. Once you buy it you will be discovering all the little details that have escaped you upon a cursory inspection - the weighted strings (little pieces of metal are sewn into the strings’ ends, so they hang down instead of flapping in the breeze), the small yoke at the back, the 3D front pockets, the added inside zipper pocket, the neck lining, the piping on the seams. Every detail of this piece has been considered. This is truly Craig Green at his best, elevating workwear the way only he can. Also, the jacket is much warmer than you think.
