It's a subtle but deft touch.
Let's face it - few things are more classic today than a perfecto, and few designers do it better than Undercover's Jun Takahashi. Throughout decades of following Jun's career, I have seen him slice and dice a perfecto in many different ways. I have one in my wardrobe on which Jun doubled every pocket for that element of disconcerting surrealism he's known for. For his Fall/Winter 2021 collection, Jun was dealing with mixed emotions, which he manifested into different fabric combinations, some clashing and some subtle. And so it was with this perfecto, in which the black wool layer is superimposed onto the supple lambskin body. I also love the repositioning of the sleeve zippers from the inside onto the outside of the cuffs. It's a subtle but deft touch.
