After Amina Muaddi graduated from the European Institute of Design, she landed a job as an assistant at L’Uomo Vogue and quickly moved on to American GQ, where she used her contacts to launch her first footwear brand, Oscar Tiye, which instantly became a hit due to their Minnie-mouse inspired heels. In 2018, Muaddi launched her eponymous label, which garnered widespread attention after being worn by the likes of Rihanna, Bella Hadid, and Kylie Jenner.
