Founded in 1856 by Thomas Burberry, Burberry (as it is now known) was originally designed to protect people from the British weather. Burberry created the trench coat during the First World War, and many of their styles have had a lasting impact on the fashion industry. Since 2022, Daniel Lee has been Burberry’s creative director, bringing the brand back to its British roots while infusing it with a sense of youthfulness.
