Founded in 1973 by Thierry Mugler, Mugler (as it is now known) was a key figure of fashion in the 1980s and 1990s. His flamboyant, theatrical shows and exaggerated, broad-shouldered silhouettes are synonymous with that era. As of 2025, Miguel Castro Freitas serves as Creative Director, ushering in a new chapter for the house.
