Founder Chitose Abe's background in pattern cutting at Comme des Garçons shaped her uniquely innovative approach to fabric. In a Sacai piece, nothing follows convention. Hems are strategically split, unexpected materials are layered and stitched to create visual flow, and fabrics are cut to maintain structure while remaining remarkably lightweight.
