On April 23rd, LỰU ĐẠN partnered with ANT/DOTE and KoruWorks to host “PHANTOM GETAWAY,” a car meet and in-store pop-up that showcased rare JDM collector cars. Flying in from his home in London, Designer/Founder, Hung La, came to pay a visit to the heart of Atlanta where he immersed himself in the car drifting community.
From street racing and drift culture to custom builds, La has often taken inspiration from Hong-Kong crime dramas, like Fallen Angels, or the duo of Rush Hour. Adopting aesthetics from car culture, past LỰU ĐẠN characters have been outfitted in leather insignia moto jackets and acid-wash denim race suits.
Part of the LỰU ĐẠN world came to life with “PHANTOM GETAWAY”, on Wednesday, April 23rd, were KoruWorks Car Shop served as the homebase where they invited the community to show off their classic JDM cars. Enthusiasts took over the garage and the street as La acted as a judge for the evening’s Best in Show competition. After La unveiled the LỰU ĐẠN Drifters–– graphics developed by the brand and creative production by KoruWorks, a GTR-R Skyline and Nissan 180SX, decked out and wrapped in the brand’s signature design.
The LỰU ĐẠN in-store pop-up will be on display until May 8th, 2025 with exclusive merch available at the ANT/DOTE boutique and LUU-DAN.COM
