ANN DEMEULEMEESTER WOMEN

Founded in 1985 by the Belgian designer Ann Demeulemeester, one of the influential Antwerp Six, known for her darkly romantic, deconstructed aesthetic. Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, the label gained recognition for its intellectual approach to design, attracting a cult following among artists, musicians, and fashion insiders who appreciated the androgynous aesthetic and masterful construction. In 2013 Ann Demeulemeester stepped back from the brand, and is currently under the creative direction of Stefano Gallici since 2023.
